With two locations around Charlotte, the Sleepy Poet has been voted "Best Antiques in Charlotte" by Charlotte Magazine since 2011. It's main location on South Blvd. offers visitors 55,000-square-feet of antiques, vintage items, and unique home decor. This shop is so big, you can literally get lost in its depths when walking through, so be sure to allow a lot of time and wear your walking shoes.

The menu should be familiar but it still packs some big surprises. The lump crab cakes here are among the best in Maryland, as they should be as one of the state's signature dishes. If you want some perfectly grilled fish, you can choose to have it simply grilled with a lemon butter blanc, Asian-style with udon noodles, or Maryland-style topped with lump crab. And, of course, there are steaks available for the landlubbers.
The restaurant is surrounded by windows, so you'll have an amazing view of the Inner Harbor, one of the best spots in Maryland for sitting by the water and watching the sunset. It's the perfect way to end the day on a Baltimore vacation.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
