Luckily for us living here in Buffalo, if you travel just over 40 miles south of the city you'll reach the Arcade and Attica Railroad that will take you on an unforgettable ride along the rails. An easy drive to take just south of Buffalo, the Arcade and Attica Railroad is impossible to miss in the town of Arcade - with its brightly colored exterior guiding the way for all.
The railroad has been in operation in Western New York since 1917, with historical photos and items on display for all to see at the station.
Today, the Arcade and Attica Railroad is known for hosting a variety of themed train rides that draw in crowds from Buffalo and beyond.
With the railroad's season beginning to near its end, you'll want to keep an eye out for exciting upcoming events.
On September 21st and October 5th, the railroad will host its Wine Tasters Train Ride, where passengers will get to taste numerous wine samples on their way to the Curriers Station.
If you can't make either of those two dates, then you can also catch the Ale on the Rails Train Ride on October 19th, where passengers will get to enjoy ale or cider tastings.
