Not only is there so much to experience and keep yourself busy within the heart of Albany, there's also plenty to photograph. From The Egg to the New York State Museum, you'll find yourself feeling small.
3. Take a tour of the old Buffalo Central Terminal to capture some eerie shots!
Shutting down for good in October 1979, the station was up and running for 50 years. The historical building has beautiful characteristics and can often come across a bit eerie. Some believe the abandoned building has become the home to many ghosts, offering haunted tours throughout October. But no worries! There's plenty of other tours offered and ways you can volunteer during the daytime hours where you'll find yourself less creeped out, and more in awe of what once was.

When taking a trip to the art center it's not unusual to see almost every visitor with a camera hanging from their neck. 500 acres of land are available to explore, featuring works of art that will keep your eye glued to your camera.

We love our outdoor playgrounds! Whether you're taking a quick hike during the day or camping out to capture the night sky, you won't go wrong with exploring the Catskills.
13. And to be more specific, Overlook Mountain is an incredibly unique hike to capture.
The hike up Overlook Mountain not only allows you to photograph nature, but ruins as well! The remains of an abandoned hotel will greet you on your hike up to the mountain top, creating a unique place to stop and rest.

Park your car and walk straight ahead until you're at the pier on Seneca Lake where you can get beautiful shots of the water and surrounding wildlife!
