As tempting as it may be to enjoy getting out on the water when you're up in the Thousand Islands, we know there's more to be enjoyed in this region than just things like magical glass-bottom boat tours! Still keeping you right near the waterfront, it's time to visit this area of New York to see what it's like to go for a ride around the longest and absolutely best go kart racing in New York. Come along for the thrill of a lifetime! (BTW, there is also a totally fun go kart track in New Jersey, too!).
Alexandria Bay is one of our favorite New York small towns.
It is located only about an hour and a half north of Syracuse and where you'll find New York's longest go-kart track hiding away.
At Alex Bay 500 Go-Karts, you'll find a whole ton of excitement waiting.
It is one of the best places to go for fun for the entire family.
To go for a ride on New York's longest go-kart track ...
.... all that's required is that you be at least 10 years old and at least 54 inches to drive the karts alone.
Don't worry, if you happen to have someone with you that doesn't meet these requirements...
...they can ride for free with a paying adult!
This fun summer adventure is open daily (in season) for all to enjoy, so buckle up and hit the track.
The smooth asphalt creates the perfect track for you to drive on with your go-kart.
Along the way, you'll pass by things like the park's 18-hole mini golf course.
There is also an epic arcade that has over 50 classic games.
Bringing out the inner race car driver in everyone who hits the track, you won't be able to get enough of this.
