If you haven't already heard, there are all sorts of ways for you to spend the day having fun on Whiteface Mountain. Some explorers will choose to go for a drive up Whiteface Mountain Memorial Highway, where you can then make use of the mountain's newly redone elevator that will take you to the top of our state's fifth-highest peak. What many people don't realize though is that waiting for you at the base of Whiteface Mountain is an actual town called North Pole, New York, and it's home to the country's very first theme park. Younger visitors will love exploring places like the Toy Maker building which has its own slide inside and spaces where kids can come and create their own masterpieces.
