With so many charming places to visit in the area, it's never too hard to find a day trip to take around the Queen City that the entire family can enjoy. An attraction that combines both history and fun-filled rides, there's a factory museum not too far from us that Buffalonians of all ages will enjoy. Bringing you only 20 minutes north of Buffalo, the small city of North Tonawanda has a rich history in carousel making that you might not have known about and has created a unique way for you to experience it all.
Located on Thompson Street, the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum has been open to the public for 35 years.
From now through December 30th, the factory's hours are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., with the Kiddieland Testing park now closed for the year. Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L.
