1. Giant Roadrunner Statue, Las Cruces
What's 20 foot tall, 40 foot long, and has Volkswagen headlights for eyes? If you answered the roadrunner sculpture in Las Cruces, you'd be correct. The artwork was originally created in 1993, by Olin Calk, as a way to promote recycling.
2. McGinn's Pistachio Tree Ranch, Alamogordo
We know you've been desperate to pose by the world's largest pistachio! Break out the selfie stick because this thing's huge. Before the jokes about nuts begin, it's worth noting that the story behind this sculpture is sweet. It's actually a memorial to Tom McGinn who started the attached pistachio and grape farm. 3. Staircase in the Loretto Chapel, Santa Fe

4. American International Rattlesnake Museum, Albuquerque

5. Tinkertown Museum, Sandia Park

6. The Classical Gas Museum, Embudo
This is another large-scale collection, this time of gas station memorabilia and gas pumps.
7. The city of Roswell
Roswell isn't inherently odd, but the way that the city has embraced the UFO theme and run with it is both wacky and wonderful. There are alien-themed murals, street lamps, and statues of little green men lounging around town. Find out more about Roswell here.
8. The town of Hatch
Parts of Hatch, like the area around Sparky's, are massively kitschy. It's surreal to be greeted by these larger than life figures.
9. Camel Rock, Tesuque
This rock formation truly does look like a resting camel. Given its size, it's a relief that this camel can't spit!
10. Kokopelli's Cave, Farmington
