New Jersey is home to dozens of delightful flea markets and antique shops but some stand out for their uniqueness. One such place is the New Egypt Flea Market Village in Cream Ridge. It's open Wednesdays and Sundays from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. year-round. What makes it special is its history. It was founded in 1959 and is home to over 40 climate-controlled historic buildings (now shops). These buildings include original WWII Barracks brought in from Fort Dix in the early 1970s as well as Bordentown's original single-room schoolhouse. If you frequently find yourself wondering about best flea markets near me, the one-of-a-kind antique market just might be your happy place.
Unlike most flea markets, this one isn't located in a massive building. It's divided among over forty charming old buildings spread over the area. The historic shops are quaint and charming! They're rustic on the outside...
But even better on the inside. You'll find a wide selection of vendors selling collectibles, furniture, books, antiques, gifts, toys, tools, and tons more. We love the locally-made goodies best.
They're one of the last unpaved, low-key, old-time country flea markets in New Jersey. When you're browsing here, it's easy to feel like you've stepped back in time.
You'll find both antique and modern treasures here. Shops include Beyond The Wine Rack (wine accessories + other gifts), Etcetera Etcetera (a wide selection of used goods), A Touch Of Country, Mystique Market (candles, crystals, incense), and Yores (vintage photos, crochet goods). The vendors on site change all the time as well, so you'll definitely want to make return visits!
You can also find The Big Kid Store (vintage toys, games, and collectibles), Annie's Oddities (handmade fairy houses), Roy's Antiques - The Hooch (veteran-owned and operated antique shop), The Old Crow Antiques & Collectibles, and so much more.
Outdoor tables are also available to rent! You never know what you'll find here, so it's not a surprise that the flea market welcomes many "Regulars" every Wednesday and Sunday, rain or shine!
In the spring, the New Egypt Flea Market Village in Cream Ridge host a Pop Culture Yard Sale with a Big Kid Toy show. This special event is a blast! We've only scratched the surface, so if you want to see it all, check out the flea market's website and Facebook page, or visit for yourself. The new stuff is great but we can't get enough of the antique selection! It's definitely one of the best flea markets in NJ. If you can't wait for the next market day and you're looking for an all-day flea market with some incredible food, check out the Columbus Farmers Market and Flea World.
