Who doesn't love fantastic prices, a wide selection of unique items, a full day of fun and free entertainment? If those things don't appeal to you, this may not be the post for you. If they do, read on! New Jersey is home to a variety of flea markets, but just a handful are truly massive. A favorite, which I have covered before, is the Cowtown Flea Market (and Farmers Market, and Rodeo). You can learn more about this epic old-school flea market here. Below, discover another giant flea market that you won't want to miss. You could easily spend an entire weekend at The New Meadowlands Flea Market, if it weren't held just one day a week. Bring friends and work as a team to find great deals!
The New Meadowlands Flea Market is held every Saturday, rain or shine, all year round, from 8 AM to 4 PM.
You'll find it in the parking lot (Lot J) of Met Life Stadium. Drawing hundreds of vendors and thousands of patrons, you can't miss it. Admission and parking are always free.
You'll find everything and anything at this sprawling market, and the vendors will be a little different every time you visit.
Clothes, bags, beauty products, flowers, fresh fruits, personal care necessities at great prices, one-of-a-kind gifts, decor and more!
One of the most in-demand sections of the market is the clothing and shoes area, where you'll find countless new and old fashions.
You might just find some designer brands here at a fraction of the price, or you might find a quirky piece of fashion long forgotten - until you bring it back into style!
Of course, one of the best parts of a flea market is the nostalgia, and the New Meadowlands Market delivers in style.
So many tables feature toys, games, and collectibles from decades past. You just might be able to complete that long-ago collection!
In addition to shopping, you'll find food and games.
Enjoy all kinds of cuisine, from hot dogs to mozzarepas, empanadas to shishkabobs, pickles to pies! Vendors rotate, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Bang Cookies. They've also got games to play and varying entertainment. This past Easter, there was a free miniature train for children to enjoy and the Easter Bunny handed out candy.
This flea market is more about budget-friendly finds than big ticket items.
Sure, you may find designer bags here, but the deals are the best part. This snazzy owl watch was just $8. Keep an eye out and you can save big on accessories, jewelry, art and much more.
The New Meadowlands Flea Market has been around since 1991, but was taken over by new management in 2010. For decades, they've been bringing together some of the best vendors in the Garden State and you'll definitely want to check it out. Since parking and admission are free, you've got nothing to lose! It's fun to explore and the food is reason enough to visit. Why not stop by today?
