New Jersey has some incredible flea markets (you can check a few out here) but there’s a new kid on the block that you can’t miss. Flemington Flea got its start in 2018 and will have upcoming dates announced closer to the event. Taking place over multiple venues around the town, it's one of the best flea markets in New Jersey. Read on to discover all there is to love about it!
Flemington Flea is a town-wide flea market. Multiple vendors around the town will transform their stores into bargain-hunting extravaganzas.
In past years, the five venues included The Filling Station beer garden (Main & Williams St.), Camp Flemington Antiques (7 Spring St.), Teaberry's Tea Room (2 Main St.), and the Stangl Factory (2 Stangl Rd.).
The Stangl Factory is a must-visit destination on its own. A former pottery factory, it is now home to art galleries, a café, yoga studio, and more. It's one of the centerpieces of Flemington's cultural scene.
Teaberry's Tea Room is another charming spot, serving up lovely lunches and over 100 varieties of tea. It's one of the only spots in New Jersey to experience a traditional English tea.
Visit these venues to find all sorts of treasures! There will also be sidewalk sales going on throughout town. You can spend all day browsing through the unique items for a special find.
There's something for everyone, from antiques to oddities and artisanal goods. Don't miss The Forge Marketplace at Stangl or the special guests who often pop up (like voice over actress Michele Knotz at a past event).
Flemington Flea usually runs from 9-3 and restaurants in town (like Blue Fish Grill) will be open for dining. Stay tuned for all the details on this year's event!
