As I write this, it's winter time, but once we get past January, I start thinking ahead to warmer weather. For me, that means spring and summer hikes, but for many folks - kids included - nothing says warm weather like hitting the water. If this you, good news is coming in 2024! Story Land in Glen will be opening up its brand-new Moo Lagoon. This is one NH water attraction you will want to visit to beat the heat!
Story Land, New Hampshire's premier children's amusement park, is bringing a new farm-themed water attraction to the park in 2024.
Bob and Ruth Morrell created Story Land in 1954 with the idea that a village could exist where storybook animals and characters could live and come to life.
Since its inception, Story Land has grown into a venue for not just storybook characters, but also for children to enjoy rides, shows, play areas, and the adjacent Living Shores Aquarium.
To celebrate Story Land's 70th birthday in 2024, the park will be debuting the all-new Moo Lagoon. Zip down waterslides and have fun soaking your friends with silly sprayers.
The newly-upgraded Barn Yard Pizza will also be opening along with Moo Lagoon, because all that fun in the water is going to work up an appetite.
Need some swim essentials? The Stock Yard will open with Moo Lagoon and will have you covered for the basics along with locker rentals.
This is certainly an exciting addition to an already beloved New Hampshire attraction!
For more information on this fun new NH water attraction, keep an eye on both the Story Land website and the Story Land page on Facebook as Moo Lagoon gets closer to opening day.
Summer is the perfect time to stay cool in the water. It's not too early to be thinking ahead to local swimming holes, river tubing, or some of the state's best lakes. What's your favorite NH water attraction? Let us know in the comments!
