Here in New Hampshire, there's always something unique to see. We especially love the interesting and oftentimes unexpected history that can be found here. From nature walks to abandoned mansions, stories of the past surround us. And none is more fun to explore than this museum and farm! It's interesting any time of year, but I enjoy taking friends and family from out of town to see it when the leaves are changing. For a look back into the history of the more rural parts of New Hampshire, visit the Remick Country Doctor Museum & Farm in Tamworth Village.
The museum and surrounding area sit on 100 acres of land and include two Remick family homes, three barns, outbuildings, and a sprawling farm that's home to lots of animals today.
Also on the property are a few trails, the most popular of which is the 0.5-mile Binsack Trail, with views of Mount Chocorua and the Ossipee Mountain Range.
Throughout the year visitors can enjoy special events catered to the season. In the fall we love activities like "Farmsploring," which offers a fun free-form way to explore and enjoy both the history and the sites.

Why We Love It: It's taken several trips for me to figure out my perfect "weekender bag that's TSA approved," but I've found my perfect carry on with the TOBIQ Colorado 30L. Why I Love It: Fact: Airplanes are notoriously dry, dry, dry. No matter how much water I drink both before and during the flight, I always find myself in a hydration deficit for days. Mt. Kearsarge Indian Museum in Warner has a mission to preserve artistic expression, values, and contributions from both current and past Native life.
The co-founders of the museum were inspired by Grand Chief Sachem Silverstar of the Pequot tribe. Silverstar emphasized that each of us is unique and is connected to all other life.
The museum's collections and philosophy reach back far into the past, long before this land was called America. Through this admirable honoring of the past, this museum is preserving Warner New Hampshire's history.
