1. Our ski slopes have views for days. Wait you didn't know we had ski slopes?!
Nevada has ski slopes. Yes. Beautiful ones at that. Ski slopes that seemingly go on for days and provide sensational views like this one.
2. Hiking is most definitely a thing in winter, especially when the snow-capped mountains in the background create the perfect backdrop.
Sure the air gets a bit crisper and you might see your breath, but as long as you bundle up, you'll be in for some serious winter sights.
3. A lot of our natural land remains untouched—and we prefer it that way.
