The fall season has finally arrived, meaning Halloween is just around the corner. And you know what that means? HAUNTED HOUSES!!! Some of the biggest, best and scariest haunted houses can be found right here in Nevada. Because some of these haunted houses are actually held in real life haunted buildings, you just might spot a true ghost or two.
Listed below are eight haunted houses in Nevada that will totally terrify you.
1. Asylum and Hotel Fear - Las Vegas
Asylum and Hotel Fear is the scariest and most detailed haunted house duo in Las Vegas. It has also received national exposure quite a few times. This season, it has teamed up with ScareCams.com to catch visitors' reactions as they go through the haunted attractions. Asylum and Hotel Fear's location is 4300 Meadows Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89107.
2. Kingdom of Horrors - Reno
Kingdom of Horrors is a premiere haunted house, featuring 26 rooms of complete terror. This popular haunted attraction is open most weekends in October and is located at 515 E 7th St, Reno, NV 89512.
3. Freakling Bros. Trilogy of Terror - Las Vegas
The Freakling Bros. Trilogy of Terror is rated the "4th Best Haunted Attraction in the World." It includes three haunted houses at one location: The Coven of 13, Gates of Hell and Castle Vampyre. This haunted attraction opens on October 9 and continues throughout the rest of the month. The Freakling Bros. Trilogy of Terror is located at 4245 S Grand Canyon Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89147.
4. The Slaughter House - Reno
The Slaughter House is Reno's #1 haunted house and Northern Nevada's largest ever indoor haunted house. It's open Thursdays thru Sundays and is located at 250 Evans Ave, Reno, NV 89501 (inside Reno Aces Ballpark).
5. The Haunted Lockdown - Goodsprings
In August of 2013, the haunted Pioneer Saloon was featured on "Ghost Adventures." The "GAC" team was locked down in the saloon overnight to see if they could catch ghostly spirits, and indeed they did. You can now experience the thrill of being locked down. 6. Blood Village - Henderson
Blood Village features two haunted attractions: Haunted Mansion and Zombie Infection. This terrifying attraction is open to the public from October 12th to the 31st. Blood Village takes place at Galleria Mall in Henderson, Nevada.
7. Bonnie Screams - Las Vegas
Bonnie Screams features four haunted houses and two ghost filled haunted trails. At this haunted attraction, you'll be sent back to the Haunted Old West. Bonnie Screams is located in the Red Rock Canyon at 16395 Bonnie Springs Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89124.
8. Fright Dome - Las Vegas
Fright Dome is located inside the Adventuredome at Circus Circus Las Vegas, and it's one of the scariest haunted house attractions in the nation. It offers six new haunted houses, 25 rides and attractions, and so much more.
