In Nevada, there are several haunted places where very strange, and even scary, things occur. Let's take a look at 11 haunted places in Nevada that will either leave you terrified or completely baffled.
1. Mizpah Hotel - Tonopah
Built in 1907, this hotel is believed to be haunted by a few prostitutes from its early days. The most famous prostitute, "Lady in Red," is known to touch men's hair or rub up against them. Her ghost can sometimes be seen speaking to the ghost of a miner. Read more about it right here.
2. Silver Queen Hotel - Virginia City
Supposedly, this hotel is haunted by a woman named Rosie - a prostitute who committed suicide in Room 11. Read more about it right here.
3. Boulder Dam Hotel - Boulder City
This historic hotel is said to have many ghosts. Visitors have reported several ghostly activities here such as the feeling of a hand on their shoulder or hands coming through the floor and grabbing one of their ankles. 4. Goldfield Hotel - Goldfield
This historic hotel has been featured on several television shows and is said to have a lot of paranormal activity going on. Supposedly, Room 109 is haunted by a pregnant woman, and there's also a ghost that stabs people who visit the hotel.Read more about it right here.

6. Whiskey Pete's Hotel & Casino - Jean
Whiskey Pete is a former moonshiner and gas station owner. Many guests have reported seeing Whiskey Pete watch over his casino, and some guests have even reported returning to their car and finding it filled with gas. 7. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum - Las Vegas

8. Piper's Opera House - Virginia City
In this historic opera house, many ghosts have been reported such as a man with a handlebar mustache, a young lady in a blue dress, and many ghosts have been seen sitting in the balcony seats. Read more about it right here.
9. Governor's Mansion - Carson City
The Governor's Mansion was first occupied in 1909 by the family of Governor Dickerson. The ghost of his wife, Una, has been seen roaming the mansion, and their daughter, June, has also been seen. Read more about it right here.

What was once a bar for wealthy men, is now said to be very haunted. The ghosts that have been reported here include: a teenage girl who was killed in the basement, a blonde prostitute who was killed on the third floor, and the prostitute's killer who committed suicide on the second floor. 11. Yellow Jacket Mine - Silver City
What led to the haunts at this mine was a fire that took place in 1869. This fire killed more than 35 miners, and not all of their bodies were recovered. Supposedly, the spirits of 11 miners stayed behind to haunt the mine. Read more about it right here.
