3. Ethel M. Chocolate Factory Cactus Gardens
This wonderful chocolate factory is also the home of the largest cactus garden in the southwestern United States. Glittering Lights is a drive-through holiday light extravaganza that features 2.5 miles of lights. You can drive through the event in your own car or take a "Santa Tram" available on select dates. 5. Hidden Valley Parade of Lights
The Hidden Valley Parade of Lights is a 30-year tradition for the Hidden Valley Homeowners' Association. The light displays are a contest between the homeowners each year and the public is welcome to visit the neighborhood and enjoy the show. The Hidden Valley neighborhood is on the east side of Reno, Nevada. Take Pembroke Avenue east from East McCarran Boulevard. The entrance to the neighborhood is after the Rosewood Lakes Golf Course. 6. Opportunity Village Magical Forest
When it comes to the best Christmas light displays in Nevada, the Opportunity Village Magical Forest belongs on your radar. The Magical Forest at Opportunity Village has been a Nevada tradition for nearly 30 years. The walk-through exhibit has millions of lights, miniature golf, photos with Santa, a "Forest Express Passenger Train" and other fun entertainment for the whole family. Proceeds from the tickets go to the Opportunity Village programs for people with intellectual disabilities. 7. Sam’s Town Mystic Falls Winter Wonderland
Mystic Falls Park is an unusual year-round exhibit within the Sam's Town Casino. A lovely waterfall is the setting for a laser light and water show. 9. Lights of Tanea
This light display is at a private residence in Truckee Meadows. The massive display was created to bring awareness to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and to encourage donations to help the fight to cure MS. Over 41,000 lights are used and are timed with Christmas music. The show also includes animated fireworks, lasers, and other lighting effects.
