Have you been trying to find a beautiful scenic overlook in Nashville or the surrounding areas? There are plenty of naturally beautiful outdoor destinations around Nashville, but one spot towers above the rest -- literally. Often known as the "Lover's Lane of Nashville," this spot is a dreamy place to take in views of the city lights while enjoying a romantic evening with your sweetheart or a fun adventure with friends. Tucked away above West End, this hill on the edge of the city gives you an (almost) unobstructed view of downtown and beyond, not to mention a stunning countryside vista that makes for one of the best sunset view in Nashville. Get ready to experience the city in a whole new way.
Love Circle is the name given to a small road and overlook that's perched atop the Music City. The accompanying green space is also known as Love Park.
Beyond casual local lore, there's really no notable history to Love Circle and no dark stories that surround the place. This certainly shouldn't stop you from making the trip, though.
You won't find picnic tables or walking paths or snack bars -- just a fabulous view and an amazing photo opportunity. Locals and out-of-towners will be equally delighted.
No matter when you make your way up the hillside, you'll be enchanted by the stunning views offered here. Love Circle gives way to one of the clearest views of downtown Nashville.
Despite the fact that the city has been constructing new skyscrapers left and right as of late, this pretty spot remains untouched and unobstructed.
We'd recommend snagging a picnic blanket, making a sandwich or two, and settling in to bask in the scenery.
Love Circle is a charming date spot for any time of the year. Is there a bit of a chill in the air? Replace your favorite turkey breast sandy with a thermos full of hot cocoa or another warm beverage. Date night doesn't get much cozier than this, whether you're here in the middle of summer or on a fall evening.
Keep in mind that you will be parking on a circular road that surrounds the hill before walking up a steep embankment for about thirty seconds.
You will have to be fairly active to make the trek, because we aren't kidding when we say it's steep. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and dress in layers in case you catch a bit of breezy weather.
Love Circle is worth visiting on a cloudy day, too. In fact, you might just find yourself getting a bit contemplative and existential when you visit on a less-than-clear day. This is the place to do it!
After all, you could easily spend hours perched atop this hillside overlook. There's a lot to ponder as you gaze into the distance.
When the sun goes down, Love Circle transforms into an even more magical attraction.
Is there anything more enchanting than appreciating the twinkling city lights as they dot the horizon?
