Flea market shopping is a blast, assuming you're a little adventurous. From handmade items to secondhand treasures, you never know what you'll find at these quirky markets. Montana's largest flea market will return for its 46th year on Memorial Day weekend, and you won't want to miss it. The St. Regis Flea Market in St. Regis, Montana is a big event in a small town.
Located about an hour from Missoula, St. Regis is a tiny town of just over 200 people.
Needless to say, the population triples in size when the flea market comes to town.
Every Memorial Day weekend, hundreds of vendors take over the beautiful St. Regis Community Park, which sits right on the St. Regis River.
And bargain-hunters come from all over Montana and beyond to see if they can find new treasures.
The market always operates on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from daylight to dusk.
Get there early if you have something specific you're looking for -- you might have a lot of competition.
Of course, there's another reason to get to the market first thing in the morning: the tasty breakfast options.
Hearty breakfasts are offered every day and you'll find plenty of food vendors offering snacks.
Would you rather be on the selling side of the experience? Registering for a booth is easy.
You'll have several options to choose from for your booth space, and you can stay all three days for a flat rate of $100. The St. Regis Community Council accepts payment by check, so you'll want to get your booth fee sent in as early as possible.
Come see what all the hype is about and join the shoppers at the St. Regis Flea Market this year.
For a bargain hunter, this is a little piece of paradise.
