For over 20 years, The Quilt A Way has been a familiar stop for the people of Great Falls. Veteran quilters and novices alike have come to love their large selection, friendly staff, and their informative classes. If you're part of Montana's quilting community, you owe yourself a visit.
The Quilt A Way was started in the original owner's garage in 1996.
Its home is now a 5,000 square foot building that used to be a credit union. The address is 222 13th St. S.
Inside you'll find a warm, welcoming environment and one incredible quilt collection.
You'll definitely be inspired.
This shop has over 3,000 bolts of beautiful fabrics from top manufacturers like Kaffe Fassett, Moda, Jo Morton, Robert Kaufman, and Timeless Treasures.
And if you don't see what you want, you can email the store and request it.
If you're curious about quilting or you'd like to improve, check out classes at The Quilt A Way.
Check out the calendar on their website -- the classes cost as little as $5.
The Quilt A Way is now owned by Patricia Sue Nelson and Annemarie Neiffer, who have a passion for sewing and quilting (and it shows).
They bought the shop from its original owners, and the response to the change in ownership has been overwhelmingly positive.
The Quilt A Way is open every day, so you'll have plenty of time to explore.
Their hours are Monday - Friday from 10 - 6, Saturday from 10 - 5, and Sunday from 11 - 4.
For more information on The Quilt A Way, check out their website. And once you've had your fill of these fabrics, head to Billings and shop at The Yarn Bar.
