Wedding season is upon us, and the ceremony location is a pretty important part of your special day. There’s no better place to exchange vows than Montana—from gorgeous hillside churches to picturesque outdoor settings, there’s something for every couple here. These 13 Montana wedding venues are a few of the many perfect spots in this state to say "I Do."

1. Billings Depot.

This historic building has been restored to show off some of its original beauty. In addition to providing a gorgeous space for your big day, the staff will allow you to choose your own catering, which can save a lot of money.

2. The Baxter.

The staff of The Baxter in Bozeman knows how to host an excellent wedding. Depending on what kind of ceremony you’d like, you can get married at the Baxter Hotel downtown or under the big sky at the Baxter Ranch. If you have a lot of out of town guests, this is a great way to get everyone together in one place and have an onsite party.

3. Cathedral of St. Helena.

If you’re Catholic, why not get married at one of the most beautiful churches in the country? To have your wedding here, you and your beloved will attend eight marriage prep sessions to help you adjust to married life.

4. The Barn at Finley Point.

This 5,000 square foot barn in Polson can accommodate 250 guests. With views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains, an outdoor fire pit and the privacy of the barn, you’ll have all you need for your special day.

5. On a hillside.

Montana is so incredibly gorgeous, you don’t have to be too particular about your ceremony spot. Most public land is up for grabs as long as you have permission (and pay a possible fee). If you have family members who own land that would work, that’s even better. This beautiful ceremony was held on a hill at the top of Bridger Canyon on family property.

6. The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.

If you want a waterfront wedding without leaving Montana, head to The Lodge at Whitefish Lake. They have 8,000 square feet of indoor banquet space for rehearsal dinners, winter weddings, and lakefront ceremonies for summer days.

7. Lone Mountain Ranch.

Located in the beautiful Big Sky area, Lone Mountain Ranch has been featured in Martha Stewart Weddings. There’s no bad season to get married here… their summer and winter weddings are both gorgeous and offer their own perks.

8. Riverstone Family Lodge.

10. Pavilion at Creative Vision.

Pavilion is a full service wedding venue in Kalispell. The staff helps the happy couple make their dream wedding happen, one step at a time.

11. Elk Lake Resort.

Head to Lima to walk down the aisle at Elk Lake Resort, where you’ll be treated to the ceremony of your choice. Lakeside? Rustic and comfortable in a cabin? Enjoying a mountainous backdrop? You get to decide.

12. A public state (or national) park.
