Winter’s finally (almost) upon us, and that means the return of wintertime fun – sled riding, snow tubing, and ice skating, to name just a few. It also signals the return of Winterfest in St. Louis, a two-month celebration of winter that boasts a full menu of fun. The newest addition to Winterfest is the Igloo Village, a collection of cozy tent-like igloos that are available for two-hour rentals
Kiener Plaza transforms into a real-life winter wonderland with the annual Winterfest, a spectacular seasonal celebration that runs Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through January 26, 2020.
This season Winterfest debuted its igloo village, with individual igloos that each comfortably seat up to six guests. Each of the igloos boasts…
Sensational views of the Gateway Arch, providing an idyllic backdrop for selfies and photos of everyone in your igloo. Igloo rentals cost $250 for two hours with the rental fee featuring a slew of benefits, including…
Plush seating and blankets. Don’t worry, however, if you don’t want to use the blankets. The igloos are all heated, so you’ll be nice and toasty during your stay.
You’ve got to have something to do while admiring the views from your igloo, right? Use your $50 credit for something to eat and drink from the Sugarfire Winterfest Café, which will provide table service to your igloo.
After your time in the igloo, lace up your ice skates for some time gliding around the ice rink. Igloo rental entitles you to as many as six ice skate rentals. (Admission to the ice rink is free.)
Keep an eye out for special events set for the winter celebration, too. Peter Pan & Tinkerbell, for example, will be on hand on December 22, 2019. New Year’s Eve features a stellar lineup of Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, Spiderman, and Spider Gwen.
