Laclede's Landing Wax Museum in St. Louis, a whimsical attraction that's been a neighborhood favorite since it opened in 1983.
In fact, the wax museum, which sits in an 1885 warehouse that's a National Historic Landmark, boasts that it has the most photographed lobby in the city.
Begin your adventure through the 10,000 square foot wax museum that's home to more than 250 wax figures from Hollywood, London, and Germany.
Along the way, you'll meet, among others, Mini Me, Superman, the Incredible Hulk, and Shrek.
Then, stroll through the spine-tingling Chamber of Horrors, where you'll discover surprises at every turn - terrifying clowns and zombies among them.
Once you've explored the five levels of the wax museum, stop by the gift shop to browse the souvenirs. And, indulge in a cold treat from the ice cream shop.
Plan your visit to Laclede's Landing Wax Museum, open Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. from November 1 through February 28.
Hours for March 1 through October 31 are Sunday through Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
