The one-mile Celebration of Lights in Missouri, for example, promises an enchanting evening that you’ll remember all year long.
The Celebration of Lights in O’Fallon welcomes visitors to explore the one-mile path of stunning twinkling lights.
On of the most popular annual events in the state, it welcomes visitors to explore the one-mile path of twinkling lights from typically right after Thanksgiving through almost the end of December.
During it, the Fort Zumwalt Park transforms into a winter wonderland!
Fort Zumwalt Park is beautiful anyway, but with all of these shimmering lights and good cheer? Its heavenly!
Pile the whole family into the car for a one-of-a-kind Christmas adventure through the park.
If you prefer letting someone else drive, reserve a horse-drawn carriage ride instead (subject to change so check the website first).
Imagine passing by colorful sites like these all evening long.
Sleigh rides through the lights are also available on select evenings.
For another unique experience, reserve a spot aboard a 20-minute train ride through the park which are offered on select days.
If you opt for one of the specialty rides – carriage, sleigh, or train – don’t forget to bring a blanket to help you stay cozy and warm.
Celebration of Lights usually also hosts a special walk-thru event where you can Join other visitors as you stroll along the one-mile trail.
They've even given it a special name: The Old-Fashioned Holiday Stroll.
Along it you will encounter Santa Claus and delicious food and gifts for sale. Fireworks are a part of the celebration as well!
Regardless of how you’re going to visit the Celebration of Lights, you must purchase tickets in advance. Tickets will not be available on the day of the event.
So grab the family or a group of friends...
