1. Merit Water Park - Mendenhall
At this natural water park, you’ll find a spring-fed swimming hole that's sure to become your new favorite summer destination. Not only is the spring-fed water nice and cold, but it’s also crystal clear, making for one refreshing dip.
2. Okatoma Outdoor Post - Seminary
For a fun day on the water, you’ve got to visit Okatoma Outdoor Post, which provides everything you need for a canoeing or kayaking adventure. The fun takes place on Okatoma Creek, which features gentle rapids and plenty of sandbars.
3. Geyser Falls Water Theme Park - Choctaw
If you’re in the mood for a thrilling adventure, Geyser Falls Water Theme Park is a must-visit. Named the state’s best water park by USA Today, it features 23 acres of water attractions and exhilarating waterslides, including three 6-story speed slides, which happen to be some of the tallest waterslides in the state.
4. Canoe & Trail Outpost (CTO) - Tylertown
For the ultimate river tubing (and relaxation) adventure, Mississippi's Canoe & Trail Outpost is the way to go. Located along the Bogue Chitto, the CTO offers a 4-mile float trip, which is one of the longest float trips in the state.
5. Margaritaville Resort Rooftop Water Park - Biloxi
Of all the water parks in Mississippi, this one stands out above the rest, literally. Fittingly dubbed a "rooftop oasis," this one-of-a-kind water park features waterslides, a pool, a lazy river, a swim-up bar, and a water ropes course.
6. Dunn’s Falls Park - Enterprise
Not only is Dunn's Falls Park home to the state’s tallest waterfall, but it also features a short trail that leads straight to the base of it. After checking out the views from the top of the waterfall, you'll want to make your way down to the bottom. Here you’ll find a shallow pool that’s perfect for cooling off.
7. The Salvation Army Kroc Center MS Gulf Coast - Biloxi
Thanks to The Salvation Army Kroc Center and its indoor water park, you don’t need the weather’s cooperation for a day of water-related fun. Perfect for all ages, this indoor water park features a waterslide, a splash pad , a lazy river, and a pool.
8. Lake Tiak-O’khata - Louisville
This lakeside resort is perfect for everything from a day of fun in the sun to an in-state getaway.
