With the city's festiveness in mind, it's no surprise it was selected as the setting for the film.
Gulfport's Festival actually played a big part in the movie, which is about a woman who returns to her hometown several years after a hurricane. During her return, she volunteers to help out with the town’s holiday light show.

But Harbor Lights isn’t the only Gulfport locale you’ll recognize in the movie.
