3. Head to one of the best winter festivals in the state.
Held for the first time in 2014, the Gulfport Harbor Lights Winter Festival is fairly new but already one of the state’s most anticipated holiday events. 5. Do some holiday shopping at a one-of-a-kind gift shop.
Head to McHenry, and you’ll find the The Pecan House. Aptly named, the decades-old shop specializes in Mississippi-grown pecans, selling them in practically every form imaginable.
