One of our favorites is a charming Christkindlsmarkt or Christmas market in St. Paul, that is so perfectly quaint that it looks like something out of a movie. The European Christmas Market is a tradition that takes place in St. Paul, Minnesota, every holiday season. It's held downtown at Union Depot, and it looks like something straight out of a Hallmark movie.
This year, the market will be held every weekend - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - from November 24 through December 17. Friday hours are 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday hours are 10 a.m. - 8 p.m., and Sunday hours are 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., so be sure to plan accordingly for this festive event.
The market is just like one you'll find in a European city. There are many vendors who sell a multitude of different items, some of them imported from Europe. This is a great opportunity to find interesting Christmas decor!
It's also a great time to do some gift shopping. Beautiful toys, crafts, clothing items, and more are found at this market. You'll love browsing through the festive booths to find the perfect item!
Aside from decor and gifts, you'll also find plenty of food vendors here. Everything from crepes to gyros to spätzle await!
There's also plenty of entertainment, from live musicians to dancers to reindeer!
