If you're really ready to feel at one with the trees, you'll love the enchanted treehouse in West Michigan, too. When you’re ready to plan your next high-flying outing, keep these six fun tree-top adventures in mind. I know I will!
1. Whiting Forest at Dow Gardens Canopy Walk
Make your way to Midland for an unforgettable journey among the trees at Whiting Forest of Dow Gardens. It's not only the longest canopy walk in Michigan, but also the longest in the United States. This elevated pathway extends for an impressive 1,400 feet and gives way to views of surrounding flora and fauna. Bring along your camera when you visit, as you’ll want to remember your one-of-a-kind trip to the Dow Gardens Canopy Walk.
2. TreeRunner Rochester Adventure Park

3. Boyne Highlands Chairlift Ride
While the chairlifts at Boyne Highlands are obviously used for skiers during the winter months, they don’t stop running when the weather warms up. That’s right: visitors to this Michigan resort can enjoy scenic chairlift rides that offer views of summer greenery, fall foliage, and more. If you're like me, this is probably the one time you'll get on a chair lift. There’s even an on-site zip line at Boyne Highlands if you’d like to make your treetop adventure complete. The Boyne Highlands Chairlift Ride is one of the most fun ways to enjoy the gorgeous views of the area.
4. Galien River County Park
Tucked away in the town of New Buffalo, Galien River County Park is an underrated but utterly fantastic place for canopy walks in Michigan. The park houses a canopy walkway that extends for 300 feet and provides amazing views of the surrounding woodlands and forest areas. When you’re through, head down for a stroll along the on-site boardwalk trail.
5. Mt. Holiday Resort Zipline Tour
Looking for things to do in Michigan? Here's an awesome option! Book a 90-minute adventure above the ground when you opt for a fun-filled zip line tour at Mt.
