This summer get ready for the ultimate escape at the 45th annual Michigan Renaissance Festival. This family-friendly festival in Holly, MI promises to be bigger and better than before, so you don’t want to miss it!
The 2024 Michigan Renaissance Festival will take place Saturdays and Sundays between August 17 and September 29. There will also be a Labor Day festival as well as other special events throughout the season.
Now in its 45th year, this fun-filled gathering draws in guests of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy a virtual journey to yesteryear. There’s an impressive assortment of activities to appreciate each weekend.
The festival can be found at 12600 Dixie Hwy in Holly. Upon arriving, you’ll be happily overwhelmed by the sounds, aromas, colors, and costumes that surround you - talk about immersive excitement.
Admission varies by age as well as by the type of pass you choose. Kids 4 and under are free. For the ultimate experience, we recommend the Royal Pass, which permits unlimited admission all season long. Events run from morning until evening on the weekends.
As you make your way through the Michigan Renaissance village, you’ll encounter everything from unique artisans to magicians and mimes. Come in costume to add an extra layer of fun to your outing.
You’ll find an assortment of theme weekends throughout the festival season, each with its own events and feast menus. 2024 themes include Viking Invasion, Highland Fling, the dog-friendly Pirates & Pups, and so much more.
Listen to live music, check out armed jousting shows, or simply peruse the 18 stages of fun and celebration that await. You might just forget about your modern-day troubles as you stroll through the fest.
