2. Watkins Lake State Park

This stunning spot within the Irish Hills region of Michigan is located only an hour and a half from the Motor City, but you’ll feel like you’ve entered a whole new world when you arrive. 4. Stepping Stone Falls

When you arrive, you’ll find an assortment of towering stone structures that mark the meeting point of the Flint River and Mott Lake. 7. Olde World Canterbury Village
