Western Maryland's biggest attraction is worth a visit. Maryland's largest lake not only has a plethora of activities to do but the surrounding scenery is unmatched.

6. Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge

This place is beautifully serene and is perfect for bird watching. Thousands of migratory birds rest at this gorgeous sanctuary, making this an experience like no other.

8. Elk Neck State Park

Such a pretty place to hike, sight see, or camp. Elk Neck State Park is one of Maryland's most picturesque spots.

This beautiful museum offers fun and hands-on activities to help visitors learn about the ocean, bay, and more. Every Marylander should visit this place at least once.
