Go Ape Zipline and Adventure Park is located in the Derwood area of Rock Creek Regional Park.
This place is home to numerous aerial adventures, including tree-to-tree crossings, Tarzan swings, and ziplines.
In fact, Go Ape has some of the longest ziplines in Maryland, with the longest being 400 feet!
Plan to spend 2-3 hours zipping and zooming through the forest...
...and mustering up some bravery to cross the high platforms.
After you've defeated the course, pose with the colorful cutouts, declaring that you've "Gone Ape!"
Keep in mind that the minimum age for this adventure is 10 years old and minimum height is 4 feet 7 inches. 10-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult age 18+.
