There are a million different ways to see the swamps of Louisiana, but we bet you've never seen the swamps from this angle. If you’re a thrill-seeker, you’re going to love Louisiana’s newest attraction, Zip NOLA. This one-of-a-kind attraction is the region’s first swamp zip line, and it’s opening its doors very soon! Let’s check it out:
Located in LaPlace, Zip NOLA might just be the most unique outdoor attraction in Louisiana.
Tucked away along Lake Maurepas, this epic spot allows you to zip line over the swamps in an adrenaline-inducing experience you'll love.
Co-founded by New Orleans natives Tyler Richardson and Barry Gras Jr., Zip NOLA combines education with adventure for a truly unique glimpse into the swamp.
The 20,000-foot zip line course consists of five zip lines, two suspension bridges, and a spiral tree staircase.
Starting at the top of a 60-foot platform, the course will take about an hour and a half to complete.
You’ll have some stunning, bird’s eye views of Lake Pontchartrain and the Maurepas Swamp as you traverse through the course.
On a clear day, you’ll even be able to see the New Orleans skyline!
Tour guides will be with you throughout your experience, ensuring your safety all the way.
As you fly over the swamps, keep an eye out for any wildlife below!
White-tailed deer, turtles, wild boar, and everyone's favorite swamp critter, the alligator, are just a few of the animals you might catch a glimpse of along the ride!
Zip NOLA officially opens at the end of June 2021. Check out their website for tickets and pricing, and be sure to give them a follow on Facebook to stay up to date on their Grand Opening!
