Blue Bayou Dixie Landin' is located at 18142 Perkins Rd E, Baton Rouge, LA.
But if you have ever driven from New Orleans west on I-10 then you have probably seen the awesome rides near the interstate.
As you are waiting in line for this ride, the tension mounts.
You have to sit with a group of four, so you better have your friends nearby.
As they place you into the raft, what surprised me the most is that you aren't really strapped in.
All you have is these small handles to grab onto as you go down the slide and into the huge funnel.
Akuza's biggest thrill comes as you go into that huge funnel--it's not hard to believe that it is the biggest in the world.
You are going to have an amazing thrill--I know I did!
Of course it is the incredible smiles that make an experience at Blue Bayou so special.
It's the kind of place that your kids won't soon forget--and they will want to return over and over.
