The countdown to Mardi Gras has begun! The city has already begun filling up with tourists, parades, and road closures. While Mardi Gras is such an iconic season in New Orleans, anyone who has lived through a few Mardi Gras will certainly relate to these 9 hilarious Mardi Gras moments.
1. Having to pee
Benny Grunch said it best in their memorable song, "Ain’t No Place To Pee On Mardi Gras Day."
2. Setting up your Mardi Gras ladder
If you have little ones, then a Mardi Gras ladder is a must. It’s almost a right of passage for the youngest New Orleanians.
3. Lugging all your throws back to your car after the parade is over
Collecting all your treasures during the parade is half the fun of going to the parade. Having to carry all of it back to the car along with your chairs, ice chests, and ladder? Well that’s another story.
