Are you looking for a beautiful place to explore in New Orleans? The French Market in New Orleans is one of the most unique flea markets you will find in the city. It's chock-full of all kinds of wonders that we know you will fall in love with. Let's explore one of the best flea markets in New Orleans!
The French Market is a full city block area that is found between Esplanade Ave, N. Peters St., and Decatur St..
It's filled with a variety of vendors, from amazing food to handmade items to just random knick-knacks.
With recent renovations, the interior of the French Market is full of life and beauty and has a lot of things to discover.
Also on most days there are a variety of vendors set up outside of the covered area, that truly offer unique goods.
You can discover local folk artists at the market that you never knew existed.
There are also multiple tables filled with knick-knacks and other items, just waiting for someone with a good eye to discover them.
There is so much to see, it's easy to spend hours just wandering the stalls here, which are truly beautiful.
And you will enjoy checking out the various events they hold regularly here, especially during the holidays.
Also, for people who live in the neighborhood, Crescent City Farmer's Market has been hosting markets in the French Market for well over a year now.
The market goes on Wednesdays from 1pm to 5pm, but is currently on a break for the summer. Look out for it to return in the fall.
So if you haven't already traveled to the French Market in New Orleans, you are going to want to ASAP.
It's one of my absolute favorite places to explore in all of New Orleans.
