While Brigsten’s hasn’t been around that long, they have certainly made their mark on the culinary landscape of New Orleans, and they show no signs of slowing down.
Tucked away in the Riverbend neighborhood of Uptown New Orleans, Brigsten’s has been a time-honored tradition for many New Orleanians.
Frank Brigsten opened the restaurant in 1986 after many years at Commander’s Palace and K-Paul’s Louisiana Kitchen.
This charming Victorian cottage only gets better inside.
Casually elegant is the vibe here, and the intimate dining areas only add to the cozy atmosphere.
Brigsten’s excels at fine fining in a relaxed setting.
So whether you’re just looking to share a meal over some delightful conversation, or celebrating a special occasion, Brigsten’s is the perfect spot.
The menu is a melting pot of flavors.
Chef Frank has composed a menu that’s full of Creole, Acadian, and contemporary flavors that’s sure to please anyone.
Using regional foods from local farmers and fishermen, Brigsten’s menu changes with the seasons.
So you know you’re only eating the freshest of the fresh.
Some of the items you’ll find on the menu include roast duck panéed veal parmesan, and panéed rabbit.
And you can always count on an array of seafood dishes.
Just be sure to leave some room for dessert.
After the end of a memorable meal, be sure to cap it off with one of their incredible desserts. Both their pecan pie and bread pudding are some of the most popular items on the menu.
Brigsten’s is open for dinner Tuesday - Saturday from 5:30 p.m. till 10 p.m.
Just be aware that a party of eight is the largest they can accommodate.
