With hundreds of festivals every year, it's safe to say New Orleans will throw a festival for just about anything. We're nearing prime festival season, which means soon enough there will be a festival in the Crescent City just about every weekend, and there's one that's just around the corner that you won't want to miss. For bourbon lovers, there's no better festival than the New Orleans Bourbon Festival, where you can sample countless bourbons from all over.
The New Orleans Bourbon Festival returns for its fourth year from March 11-14, 2020 and this year promises to be its best one yet.
Guests to this boozy fest have the opportunity to enjoy exceptional Bourbons from all over the country, sampling bourbons from both regional and national distilleries.
The four day festival is chock full of events.
You can attend a seminar where you’ll learn about the history of bourbon, best food pairings with bourbon, women in bourbon, and presentations from master distillers.
There will also be bourbon dinners, where the finest New Orleans restaurants pair up with distillers to create a meal that will blow you away.
Like this spin on a New Orleans staple: Maker’s 46 Drunken Shrimp & Andouille over a Fried Grit Cake. Yum!
And of course, you won’t want to miss the bourbon grand tastings. This year, a New Orleans themed 1920’s speakeasy is the scene for sampling several different bourbons and munching on traditional New Orleans foods.
You can purchase tickets based on what you'd like to do, and they even have an option for anyone that's just looking to partake in the food and fun without the tastings!
