Summer is in full swing, with plenty of heat and even more things to do around the state. If you love water parks but hate what comes with being outside, this is the perfect spot for you. This water park in Kansas is not only fun for the whole family, but completely indoors. No sunburns or snakes at this water feature!
Welcome to Parrot Cove Indoor Waterpark, a shining attraction in southwest Kansas that's perfect for spending a day out of the heat doing something fun.
Parrot Cove features 36,000 square feet of year-round fun, not limited to only the summer heat. We don't have many water parks, so something this fun being open year-round is amazing.
Since late 2016, this has been the largest water park in southwest Kansas, and the only indoor water park between Denver and Kansas City. It gets a lot of attention, but is worth every penny.
Features at the park include water slides in different sizes, a splash zone, wading pool, rock climbing area, log crossing, and even an area for party rooms and an arcade. Two of the water slides are big enough that they stick outside the building quite a bit!
The park doesn't provide you with any towels, but they do provide you with a sun-free way to enjoy a summer water park at your leisure. They don't use cash either, you load points onto a waterproof wristband so you don't have to carry tickets, money, or anything else with you along the rides.
When the sun goes down before the park closes, you can expect to see the park glow brightly from the outside. Will you be on the inside this summer, having a blast?
They're open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays.
For more information, check out their webpage or Facebook.
