There's a certain relationship Kansans have with the sky. Amelia Earhart, Purvis & Wilson, and many more have dreamed of flying throughout their lives. However, many of us never get the chance to soar through the skies in anything other than a passenger plane. That's why we think this Kansas attraction is the perfect bridge between dreams and reality. At the end of this summer, you'll be treated to an amazing show set in our beautiful skies. Have you ever seen anything quite like this?

September 8-9, 2018 Kansas gets to close out summer with a beautiful aerial show for any and all to enjoy at McConnell Air Force Base near Wichita, KS.
Pictured above is Kent Pietsch Airshows, one of the performers featured at this event. Any plane covered with jelly beans should be great for the kids!
It's completely free and is part of their open house during those days as well. However, the exact schedule of events isn't available yet.
Pictured above is Tora Tora Tora, another listed performer for this event. They reenact the attack on Pearl Harbor, right before your eyes. Without all the bad things, of course.
Enjoy sitting with friends, family, and fellow Kansans to watch these amazing (and sometimes frightening) stunts!
Yes, that person is standing on their plane. It might look insane, but Greg Shelton Airshows has mastered his craft.
Both days should be identical, as long as weather permits.
Pictured is the famous Thunderbirds, a group that flies together for life, and someone else you'll get to see in the show.
The gates open on both days at 9 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m.
You'll find McConnell AFB right next to southeast Wichita. Pictured above is one of the Golden Knights parachuters who are also scheduled to be in the performance.

If you don't think you'll make it out to this event, you can always visit this Kansas restaurant and watch planes land all the time.
