1. Squire Boon Caverns - Mauckport
You'll find these enchanting caverns underneath of Squire Boon Village where there's a pioneer village and grist mill to explore. Check out the real beauty underneath on a one hour cavern tour.

2. City Market Catacombs - Indianapolis
Also dubbed the Tomlinson Hall Catacombs, these creepy, yet stunning underground rooms have quite a history. They were built in the late 1800s and have been used as a basement, a homeless shelter, a refugee camp, a supply depot, and even a firing range for police officers. Pretty awesome!

3. Margeno Caves - Margengo
This super popular cave system will absolutely astound you in person. The unique tours and cave formations you'll find here will have you wanting to stay underground just a bit longer.

4. The Lost River - Orangeville
The Lost River is a river that seemingly disappears for 23 miles and then pops back up in Orangeville. However, the river doesn't really disappear - it just goes underground, which is really awesome. This river has been dubbed a National Natural Landmark for two different reasons: 1) the way the river sinks into the limestone and seemingly disappears for miles is remarkable and 2) the underground river system is distinctly unique.

5. Indiana Caverns - Corydon
Indiana Caverns offers a unique walking or boating experience through this gorgeous cave system in southern Indiana. Tours last for about an hour, though you'll find yourself wanting to linger underground for much longer.

6. Bluespring Caverns - Bedford
This gorgeous cavern offer the ultimate boat ride through a remarkable cave system. What sets Bluespring's apart is the unique opportunity you'll have to spot blind and albino cave wildlife, from fish to amphibians.

7. The Twin Caves - Mitchell
These gorgeous caves are available to explore in warmer month by boat ride in Spring Mills State Park. You'll also find cool wildlife here, from blind crayfish to unique bats.
