The Historic Irvington Halloween Festival takes place at 5700 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN, 46219, but locations for events happen across the Irvington Historic District.
Eerie Irvington
Raise your hand for a hair-raising good time. Irvington is a beloved neighborhood and community in Indianapolis. Now preserved as the Irvington Historical District, the Historic Irvington Halloween festival celebrates the culture of this unique neighborhood and supports its local businesses, artists and artisans.
A Creepy Community that Cares
Irvington goes all out for its Halloween celebration. One real highlight is watching the whole district get caught up in the Halloween spirit. Each year, there's an open competition for the best fest flyer...
...as well as an adorable scarecrow gallery that shows off the crafting skills of Irvington. If it's serious art you're looking for, they've got that too. Each year, "Presenting Irving Artists" offers collectors a chance to invest in the town's scarily talented local artists.
A Sweet and Spooky Street Fair
The showstopper at the Historic Irving Halloween Festival is its famous street fair and parade. Hundreds haunt the streets to celebrate this historic neighborhood.
During the parade, people from every corner of the community, young and old, come out to strut their stuff and show out their spectacular costumes.
The street fair also assembles vendors from all over the city and state to sell some ghastly goods you just have to get your hands on.
A Night of Spirits
The Historic Irvington Halloween Festival partners with businesses across the historic district to bring you the most freaky, family-friendly Halloween possible. Black Acre Beer
Garden hosts the festival's Vampire Run on the 31st. This untimed, family-oriented run goes to support great community causes. Afterward, send the kids trick-or-treating with a sitter and head back to Black Acre for their Halloween celebration. It's sure to raise your spirits!
