The USS LST 325 has a long history of serving the United States. The ship first launched in 1942 and has been to Bermuda, Algeria, Sicily, Libya, England, and Ireland. This ship played a distinct role during WW2.
This ship now rests at port in Evansville, as a floating museum of history and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Visitors can embark on one hour tours across and inside of this vessel.
During the tour, you'll get to explore the main deck, while learning more about this ship's important role in our country's history.
You'll also get to learn more about what life was like for the crew by exploring where crew members slept and worked. You'll also get to check out the captain's cabin.
