1. Dunn's Bridge

4. South Bend River Lights
No matter the time of year, the lights along the St. Joseph River in South Bend light up each and every night. 5. DeFries Gardens

6. Rose Island
In the 1900s, this was a popular amusement park that later fell into ruin. It was destroyed by a flood in the 1930s and has been slowly decaying since. There are a few structures that nature has left behind like a stone fountain and a giant swimming pool, and you can learn more about it here.
7. City Market Catacombs
Enjoy a guided tour of Indy's underground. Few people know that there are catacombs below the city. They actually do not contain human remains but rather brick barrel-vaulted arches and other remnants of the Tomlinson Hall basement. Tours last about 30 minutes and are available May through October. Tickets are $12 per person age 12 and up while those between the ages of 6 and 11 are admitted for $2. Younger children may enter for free.
