2. Illinois Prairie Path (Du Page County)

3. Rochelle Railroad Park (Rochelle)

4. Illinois Railway Museum (Union)
This is the largest train museum in America, and Illinois is very proud of it. Featuring steam trains, diesel trains, trolleys, and much more, this place will teach you the full history of railroads in the state.
5. 2Toots Train Whistle Grill (Bartlett & Glen Ellyn)
Now, it's time for the restaurants!
Featuring a classic American menu, this eatery is a favorite for children of all ages. A track runs around the counter, delivering food via railcar. You don't want to miss out on this fun and exciting atmosphere.
6. Chessie's Restaurant (Barrington)
While it looks like a regular restaurant from the outside, this diner was actually built around a historic train depot and includes a 1920s commuter train for guests to dine in. Patrons enjoy a unique atmosphere along with high-quality food.
7. The Junction Diner (Forest Park)
Sit around the counter at this urban eatery for food delivery service by model train. Guests enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner favorites in a rustic setting. This is one of the best train attractions outside Chicago.
