When you want to splash, shoot, throw, climb, bowl, and so much more, Triple Play is the ultimate destination. This massive indoor amusement park in Hayden Lake, Idaho, is a family-friendly attraction with three main areas (hence this attraction’s name!): Triple Play Family Fun Park, Raptor Reef Indoor Waterpark, and Triple Play Resort and Suites. Once you understand the full breadth of what this spot has to offer you'll be packing your bags and planning a trip there.
If you can dream it, you can likely find it at Triple Play. This indoor park opened in 2000 with just a handful of attractions, but over the years, it has expanded to the massive indoor amusement park it is today. In fact, Triple Play is the only one of its kind west of the Mississippi.
There's something for the whole family no matter how varied your preferences and tastes are.
The Family Fun Park offers so many activities that it will keep your family busy all day long. You can take a turn trying to escape the laser maze or enjoy a little friendly competition in the 3,600-square-foot, two-level laser tag arena.
You’ll also find activities like miniature golf, axe throwing, bumper cars, go-karts, and an interactive movie attraction. There are endless opportunities for hours and hours of fun here. And because it's indoor, it's rain or shine.
If you are up for a bit of a heart-racing adventure, check out the ropes course. This is a three-level course with 32-foot ropes. You’ll climb over platforms and obstacles, walk on tightropes, and more. And of course, for those kids who are too young for the ropes course, there is the Sky Tykes Course just for them!
Having different activities that are safe for different ages is ideal for families with multiple children. This way everyone can have fun in age-appropriate activities.
If your family loves to spend the day in the water, head to the Raptor Reef Indoor Waterpark. This area features four slides including a 400-foot tube slide and a 350-foot speed slide with three tight curves.
In the summer this is an amazing way to cool down, but because everything is heated you can also enjoy it in the middle of winter.
Of course, if you just want to relax, hang out at the wave pool, the toddler lagoon, or the children’s play areas.
Maybe you want to chill while the kids burn off energy. Everyone can do what they need here.
With all that is offered at Triple Play, you certainly won’t be able to do it all in one day – that’s why you need to spend the night! The Triple Play Resort and Suites features 95 rooms and suites and a complimentary breakfast.
Special "Play and Stay" package options are also available if you choose to stay in the hotel. These options include tickets to both the family fun area and the indoor waterpark. It's easy to enjoy this park as a day trip or a weekend getaway. There's certainly enough to keep you busy over multiple days.
And, if you become hungry during your day of fun, there is a limited-service restaurant that offers tasty treats like hamburgers, pizza, and ice cream.
No outside food or drink is allowed at Triple Play but you can leave the property and return later in the day if desired. That gives you the flexibility to enjoy everything else the area has to offer.
With all there is to do, Triple Play is sure to be one Idaho attraction that you remember for years to come.
You and your family may decide to start coming every year to relive the fun you had on that first visit.
