When you are on the hunt for terrific treasures in southeastern Idaho, there is one place to go — Country Store Boutique. This large and impressive antique store is where you can find furniture, jewelry, collectibles, décor, and so much more. But, this historic market in Idaho is more than just a place where you can find unique items; it is also home to two historic buildings.
Welcome to the Country Store Boutique! Located on Ririe Highway outside of Idaho Falls, this antique store is certainly a sight to see.
This antique store first opened its doors in April 1973. However, the building is much, much older.
Country Store Boutique first began in the old Crowley School. This schoolhouse was built in 1899 and was a typical one-room schoolhouse. It was renovated in 1972 to become the antique store we love today.
However, in 1977, the old schoolhouse became too small for this antique store, and more space was needed.
That’s when the store's owners purchased a barn from a local man named Mr. Price to greatly expand the store's square footage. The Price Barn was previously located approximately 0.5 miles north of the Country Store Boutique before it was moved intact and placed in its current location.
Additional expansions and renovations have occurred including the addition of a two-story building on the north side of the barn, a small shop on the east side of the barn, and more.
Today, there are more than 10,000 square feet packed with antiques and collectibles for you to enjoy.
The items found in this store are continually changing but as you walk through, you’ll often see antique, hand-restored, and one-of-a-kind furniture.
Country Store Boutique restores this furniture, so it is typically move-in-ready to create a conversation piece no matter where you place it in your home or office.
Many of the items in this store have quite a history and will take you back in time …
… others are unique and perfect to complete a collection. You just never know what you will find.
And since the inventory is constantly changing, it’ll be like visiting a brand new store each and every time you walk through the front doors. This is one store you’ll want to explore over and over again.
Are you ready for the ultimate treasure hunt at Country Store Boutique? You never know what you will find!
