Looking for a family-friendly attraction in Georgia that's got a little bit of something for everyone? That sounds like Wild Adventures to us! This beloved theme park is one of the top attractions in Valdosta, located in the southern part of the state not far from Florida. This is not a popular tourist area: most people tend to gravitate towards historic Savannah to the east or the glamor of metropolitan Atlanta in the north. Wild Adventures proves that there's adventure all over the state, though! Here, you'll find family-friendly rides, adrenaline junkie rides like roller coasters, water rides that are perfect for muggy Georgia summers, and even a zoo! This is a theme park in Georgia like no other and you'll find entertainment for kids and kids at heart alike here.

Wild Adventures spans an impressive 166 acres. You'll find plenty of attractions here, including heart-pounding roller coasters and tamer options for kids.

The roller coasters are a blast for adrenaline junkies, but there are plenty of family-friendly options, too.

If you visit in the summer time, the 27-acre Splash Island Water Park is included with Wild Adventures admission.

The Polynesian-themed park is designed to resemble a tropical paradise.

The park is also home to many animals, including exotic species like giraffes and rhinoceroses.

Add-on packages are available where you can feed several of the zoo's animals, including the giraffe and alligators.

You'll find the best apple cider donuts in Georgia at this little farm market, which just so happens to be tucked away in the Apple Capital of Georgia.

One of my favorite things to do in fall in Georgia is visit a farm market. Though the Peach State has more than its share of bustling metropolitan areas, agriculture is still the backbone of Georgia's economy, and there is certainly no shortage of farm towns all over the state, whether you're up in our mountains or down in rural South Georgia. One of the state's most popular fall destinations is the little town of Ellijay, a city in Gilmer County with a population of around 2,000 people. It's nicknamed the apple capital of Georgia thanks to its fruit production and annual Apple Festival, held each October. It's here that you'll find the delightful Panorama Farm Market. This year-round market sells a variety of fruits and fresh-baked goods throughout the year, but come fall, it's home to some of the best apple cider donuts in Georgia. Check it out:

Panorama Orchards is a family-owned farm that's been in the area since the 1920s. It started as a small fruit stand that specialized in apples, but has grown immensely in the last century. You'll now find a multitude of fruits available throughout the year, including blueberries, peaches, strawberries, pumpkins, and more, but apples remain a beloved specialty here. The farm grows 20 different varieties of apples, guaranteeing there's something for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to apples, you'll find plenty of freshly-baked goodies throughout the year, including breads and pies.

Of course, the fresh produce is also available for sale. Apples and pumpkins are a hot commodity in the fall!

This old-fashioned farm market carries plenty of other goodies, too. Fresh jars of jam and preserves line the shelves, and there's even a colorful selection of old-fashioned candies.

We've got to say, though, one of the most delicious treats here is undoubtedly the delicious apple cider donuts. If you're a fan of this sweet fall treat, you won't be disappointed with the ones available here.

We have several great amusement parks in Georgia. And don’t get me wrong, they are great, but let’s be real: the weather in Georgia can be finicky. Luckily, there are some options to have fun inside when the weather isn’t cooperative. How much fun does an indoor amusement park in Georgia sound like? There are two fantastic Andretti Karting and Games locations here - one in Buford and one in Marietta. There is so much to enjoy here, and the whole family will have an absolute blast.

Indoor go-karting is the main thing to do here. At Andretti Karting, they use really fast electric go-karts that are easy to drive and can zip along the track safely. They have smaller karts for kids and even races just for them, so everyone can have a great time.

If you're not into the high-speed excitement of real go-kart racing, you can still experience the thrill of riding in a professional race car with the super realistic simulators available here. The simulators are so lifelike that you can feel the seat belt pulling and the vibrations of the engine. It's just like being a real race car driver.
