While it’s likely known that if you want to catch some waves in the United States, California and Hawaii would be the first choice for many. But, you can’t quite count out Florida, especially with the wave park that is reportedly coming to The Sunshine State in the near future. You’ll never have to worry about surf conditions again when you visit WaveGarden in Florida, which is set to be the biggest surf park in the country. Check it out…
Fort Pierce is about to have the world’s largest "WaveGarden" - a simulated surfing park that will be part of a nearly $600 million 200-acre community development project.
What has been dubbed Willow Lakes Village will make Fort Pierce a prime surfing destination in Florida, despite already being popular among the locals.
This artificial wave pool is part of the proposed development on Midway Road, with an aim to bring more surfing enthusiasts to Florida.
There are already several WaveGarden locations throughout the world - including Australia, England, Spain, Brazil, Switzerland, and South Korea.
The surf park will showcase a gargantuan wave pool that simulates up to 1,000 waves per hour, accommodating up to 100 surfers at any given time.
Don’t worry if you aren’t already an avid surfer, there will be plenty of opportunities for beginners to learn the ropes, too.
Imagine being able to catch waves of all sizes no matter the ocean conditions or the surf report.
