It's official! We just received word: the countdown to Universal Orlando's fourth theme park has begun! Universal Epic Universe will officially open on May 22, 2025. This groundbreaking park will feature five immersive worlds: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. With over 50 attractions, entertainment experiences, and themed dining, Epic Universe promises to revolutionize theme park entertainment for all.

At the heart of the park is the Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a 500-room Loews property offering exclusive views and a dedicated entrance for hotel guests. The opening of Epic Universe will transform Universal Orlando Resort into a comprehensive vacation destination with four theme parks and 11 hotels, making it a multi-day adventure for visitors.

Karen Irwin, President and COO of Universal Orlando Resort, says about the park's opening, "This is such a pivotal moment for our destination, and we’re thrilled to welcome guests to Epic Universe next year." Irwin continues, "With the addition of this spectacular new theme park, our guests will embark on an unforgettable vacation experience with a week’s worth of thrills that will be nothing short of epic! Our Universe will never be the same.”

Ticket sales for Universal Epic Universe will begin next week, including multi-day passes to all Universal parks and reservations for the Helios Grand Hotel. Annual Passholders can purchase single-day tickets early, starting October 24.

Keep in mind, this isn't just one experience like Halloween Horror Nights, which you likely can complete in one evening. With the opening of the varied park experiences, you might want to select multi-day tickets so that you can be the first to explore it all.
